Under the calling and guidance of the Holy Spirit in 1996, Evangelist Tammy T. Dugas founded the Christian Women In Prayer Outreach Ministries (CWIP). Her call to this ministry was on December 26, 1996. She was called to stand in the gap for lost souls, hurting women, children and to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Evangelist Dugas began this walk of faith on January 17, 1997 where she held her first prayer fellowship at her home. These prayer meetings went on at here home for about six months with twelve faithful ladies.

The Lord saw the love and commitment of this ministry and open the doors at the Glen Oaks Baptist Church, and sometime later, at the In His Hands Baptist Church, both of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This move of God allowed more ladies to come and be restored, revived, and renewed through praise, prayers, testimonies, and most of all His Word.

On June 6, 1997, the ministry was formerly blessed and an oath of stewardship was given to stand and be servants of the Lord was taken. As they continue to serve the Lord, they have witness the hands of God move through the power of prayer, fasting, supplication and perseverance. Many testimonies have been shared with them as to how God have answered the prayers of those whom they were standing in the gap for.

*   Street Witnessing

*   Intercessory Prayer Line

*   Prayer Potpourri

*   Quarterly Newsletter
and many more such as, sharing gifts of love with the children at the hospital, care packages for the homeless, and hosted a prayer vigil on the steps of the State Capital.

Since this time, God has sent more labours to stand in the gap to build a hedge for His people in this trouble world of hurting and lost souls. After twenty-five years of standing in the gap, In January 2020, God saw fit to diversify this ministry changing its name to Willing Vessels of Prayer Intercessory Outreach Ministries (WVOP). WVOP currently have twenty-five intercessors who daily stand in the gap and pray without ceasing. 

Evangelist Dugas is a self-published author who was inspired by the Holy Spirit to write a book that was released in October 2023,
